Qualifications

• REST API testing with Postman or equivalent.
• SQL and database validation skills.
• Experience with defect management and Agile tools.

DevOps (CI/CD) - Quality Assurance & Testing

We are seeking a DevOps professional with 4 to 6 years of experience in CI/CD quality assurance and testing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications across multiple platforms and environments.

Core Testing Responsibilities:

• Validate FSA application functionality across desktop, web, cloud-connected, and integrated system environments.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing for new features, bug fixes, and modernization initiatives.
• Verify cloud adaptation and migration activities, ensuring application behavior remains stable during platform transitions and framework upgrades.
• Perform API testing, integration testing, and data validation across interconnected systems.

Test Automation & CI/CD Integration:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites to improve release quality and reduce manual verification efforts.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing and quality gates into deployment workflows.
• Contribute to quality improvements through risk analysis, test strategy refinement, and continuous process optimization.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure early defect detection and faster resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and release readiness activities.
• Track, report, and manage defects through their lifecycle while ensuring proper root-cause analysis and validation of fixes.

Production Support & Validation:

• Support customer validation, release verification, and production issue investigations when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline
• 4 to 6 years of proven experience in software testing of desktop, web, or enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar solutions
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques
• Experience working with defect management and Agile project management tools
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and quality validation within automated release processes
• Experience with Git-based development workflows
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret logs, identify root causes, and collaborate effectively with development teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience validating cloud-hosted applications and cloud migration initiatives
• Knowledge of performance, security, and reliability testing concepts
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and automated quality gates
• Experience in API automation testing
• Exposure to desktop applications developed using .NET technologies
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Robot Framework
• Experience with hardware-integrated or automotive diagnostic applications
• Understanding of software compliance, vulnerability validation, and release certification activities
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and Copilot-assisted test design
