Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced DevOps QA tester to validate desktop, web, and cloud-connected applications. You will perform functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing while contributing to automated test suites and CI/CD quality gates.

The role requires 4–6 years of software testing experience, strong API testing, SQL validation, and Git-based workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/ Electronics or related engineering field.
• Experience testing desktop, web, or enterprise apps.
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC.
• Experience testing REST APIs with Postman or similar tools.
• Proficient in SQL and DB validation techniques.
• Experience with defect tracking and Agile project management tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated release validation.
• Git-based development workflows experience.

Responsabilités

• Validate application functionality across desktop, web, cloud-connected and integrated systems.

• Verify cloud adaptation and migration activities during platform changes and framework upgrades.

• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing and quality gates into deployment workflows.
• Track, report and manage defects through their lifecycle with root-cause analysis and fixes.

Job Description

DevOps (CI/CX)4 to 6 years experience in DevOps (CI/CX)Validate FSA application functionality across desktop, web, cloud-connected, and integrated system environments.Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing for new features, bug fixes, and modernization initiatives.Verify cloud adaptation and migration activities, ensuring application behavior remains stable during platform transitions and framework upgrades.Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites to improve release quality and reduce manual verification efforts.Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure early defect detection and faster resolution.Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and release readiness activities.Perform API testing, integration testing, and data validation across interconnected systems.Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing and quality gates into deployment workflows.Track, report, and manage defects through their lifecycle while ensuring proper root-cause analysis and validation of fixes.Contribute to quality improvements through risk analysis, test strategy refinement, and continuous process optimization.Support customer validation, release verification, and production issue investigations when required.

Required Experience & SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline.Proven experience in software testing of desktop, web, or enterprise applications.Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar solutions.Good knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.Experience working with defect management and Agile project management tools.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and quality validation within automated release processes.Experience with Git-based development workflows.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret logs, identify root causes, and collaborate effectively with development teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience validating cloud-hosted applications and cloud migration initiatives.Knowledge of performance, security, and reliability testing concepts.Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and automated quality gates.Experience in API automation testing.Exposure to desktop applications developed using .NET technologies.Experience with hardware-integrated or automotive diagnostic applications is an advantage.Understanding of software compliance, vulnerability validation, and release certification activities.Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and Copilot-assisted test designGood To have experience with test automation frameworks such as:PlaywrightSeleniumCypressRobot Framework
