Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud-Native / Multi-Cloud) to own Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability operations across GCP, Azure, and AWS. You will maintain scalable production workloads and implement secure, observable systems, including ML/data platforms.

The role emphasizes cloud-native infrastructure, strong Kubernetes expertise, and collaboration with data teams, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge AI-enabled engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Kubernetes experience in production
• 3+ years building multi-cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• 3+ years designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale
• Strong SRE mindset including incident response and reliability ownership
• Experience with Databricks and/or Vertex AI is a plus
• Familiarity with security best practices: IAM, secrets management, compliance

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, EKS) including networking, RBAC, autoscaling, GitOps
• Manage multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS using Terraform
• Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines via GitHub, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps
• Own monitoring and observability stacks with Prometheus and Grafana
• Handle IAM, secrets management, security controls, and compliance requirements
• Support Databricks and Vertex AI cluster operations for data and ML workloads

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, EKS) - networking, RBAC, autoscaling, GitOps, and container lifecycle
• Manage multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS using Terraform (modules, state, environments)
• Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines via Bitbucket, GitHub, and Azure DevOps
• Own monitoring and observability stacks - Prometheus, Grafana, logging, and alerting
• Handle IAM, secrets management, security controls, and compliance requirements
• Support Databricks and Vertex AI cluster operations for data and ML workloads

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience (GKE, AKS, or EKS) in production environments
• 3+ years building multi-cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• 3+ years designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale
• Solid SRE mindset - incident response, debugging, and reliability ownership
