Job summary

Ascendion in Pune, India, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud-Native / Multi-Cloud) to own Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability operations across GCP, Azure, and AWS. You will design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure, harness Terraform, Bitbucket/GitHub/Azure DevOps, and observability stacks to keep production workloads fast and secure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Kubernetes in production environments.
• 3+ years multi-cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
• 3+ years designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Solid SRE mindset — incident response and reliability ownership.
• Experience with security best practices: IAM, secrets management, compliance.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and/or Vertex AI is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, EKS) – networking, RBAC, autoscaling, GitOps, container lifecycle.
• Manage multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS using Terraform.
• Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines via Bitbucket, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
• Own monitoring and observability stacks – Prometheus, Grafana, logging, and alerting.
• Handle IAM, secrets management, security controls, and compliance requirements.
• Support Databricks and Vertex AI cluster operations for data and ML workloads.

This is a senior DevOps role focused on cloud-native infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS. You'll own Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability operations - keeping production workloads fast, secure, and scalable. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, EKS) - networking, RBAC, autoscaling, GitOps, and container lifecycle
• Manage multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS using Terraform (modules, state, environments)
• Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines via Bitbucket, GitHub, and Azure DevOps
• Own monitoring and observability stacks - Prometheus, Grafana, logging, and alerting
• Handle IAM, secrets management, security controls, and compliance requirements
• Support Databricks and Vertex AI cluster operations for data and ML workloads

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience (GKE, AKS, or EKS) in production environments
• 3+ years building multi-cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• 3+ years designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale
