Job summary

Danaher Corporation in Bangalore North is seeking an Scientist I in Research Development who will be primarily responsible for the conjugation, purification and characterization of flow cytometry assays. This is an on-site role located at Bengaluru facility.

You will work under the Senior/Staff Scientist or Manager, Development Science within the RD team, contributing to preparative/analytical chromatography and development of flow cytometry methods, with hands-on experience in AKTA, HPLC,

Qualifications

• MSc in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Science with 5+ years of work experience in biotech RD or CROs/APIs.
• Experience in characterization and hands-on chromatography (Affinity, IEC, MMC, SEC) and laboratory measurement systems (AKTA, HPLC, spectrophotometer, protein estimation, FRET).
• Core expertise in protein biochemistry, including bio-conjugation chemistry and chromatography.
• Basic knowledge of Flow Cytometry or related assay development is an added advantage.
• Good laboratory practices and meticulous notebook maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preparative or analytical chromatography and operate analytical equipment (AKTA, HPLC, UV-Vis).
• Carry out analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GPC, UV-Vis, and fluorescence analyses.

Job Summary

We are currently looking for an Scientist I in Research Development who will be primarily responsible for the Conjugation, purification and characterization of flowcytometry assays.

Role Details

This position reports to the Senior Scientist/Staff Scientist/Manager, Development Science and is part of the RD team located in Bangalore North facility and will be an on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Preparative or Analytical chromatography
• advanced laboratory measurement systems are desired (AKTA, HPLC, Spectrophotometer, Protein estimation techniques, FRET analysis)
• Work on various analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GPC, UV-Vis, Fluorescence.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life science degree with minimum 5+ years of work experience preferably in Biotechnology research and Flowcytometry method development/RD lab either in CROs/APIs or in academic research institutions.
• Experience in characterization of Hands on Experience with various modes of Preparative or Analytical chromatography (Affinity, IEC, MMC, SEC) and advanced laboratory measurement systems are desired (AKTA, HPLC, Spectrophotometer, Protein estimation techniques, FRET analysis).
• Core expertise in protein biochemistry, such as bio-conjugation chemistry, exposure to Tandem chemistry, Chromatography techniques, Hands on experience on protein purification techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Flow cytometry or other assay development techniques would be an added advantage.
• Good laboratory practices- record notebook maintenance.

Travel, Physical/Environment Requirements

NO Travel is expected for this role. This would be a fully on-site role.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift/move or carry equipment/solvents/buffers of 10-15 Liter/10-15 Kg capacity.
