Job summary

Magneti Marelli Parts & Services in India is seeking a Development Quality Engineer to join the Propulsion team, reporting to the Quality HOD. This role is based at our Manesar office and focuses on defining and tracking Development Quality KPIs to drive product quality improvements.

You will collaborate with Product Platform Teams and Plant QE, support validations and audits (IATF, customer, third party), and ensure quality requirements are properly mitigated throughout the offer and

Qualifications

• B-tech in Electronics & Communication or Mechatronics required.
• Experience with automotive product development and quality processes.
• Familiarity with CSR and quality requirement mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Define, coordinate and execute Development Quality KPIs with action plans.
• Identify and mitigate quality requirements during offers and escalate non-compliance.
• Promote lessons learned and ensure knowledge sharing on Development Quality.
• Interface with Product Platform Teams to align Development Quality requirements and report KD during PMO Gate Review Meetings.
• Support QE in the Plant for Manufacturing Process quality aspects in the Development Quality Plan.
• Assist in validation plan definition and verify claims with problem solving.
• Proficient in Atlassian Confluence/Jira usage.
• Experience with Risk Evaluation Processes.
• Support audits (IATF, customer, third party) related to P2 Process.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Development Quality Engineer to join the Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Quality HOD.

This position is based at our office in Manesar.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Define, Coordinate and Execute Development Quality KPIs.Prepare action Plans and promplty monitor the progress.
• Identify and analyze the Quality Requirements, including CSR, during offer phase. Ensure all Quality requirements are properly mitigated by core team and promtly escape in case of non-compliance.
• Promote and ensure the application of the lessons learnt.
• Interface with variour Product Platform Teams for Development Quality aspects and requirements, to achieve share results and report DQ relevent KDs during PMO Gate Review Meetings
• Interface with the QE in the Plant to be supported for the Quality aspects of the Manufacturing Process written in the Development Quality Plan.
• Support Product Development & Plants in the Validation Plan definition and, with the support of QE in the Plant, promote/verify that claims, coming out from validations, are analyzed and solved taking ownership of the problem solving.
• Knowledge on usage of Atlassian Confluence/ Jira
• Experience on Risk Evaluation Processes
• Support teams for preparing IATF, Customer and third party audits related to P2 Process

What Qualifications you will bring:

B-tech in Electronics and communication or Mechatronics

• Understanding functionality of automotive products
• Problem solving & Analytic tools(e.g. FMEA, FTA)
• Strong capability to effectively manage relationships with peers, subordinates, upper management, customers, partners, suppliers etc.
