About the Position:

We are looking for an Automotive Android Architect.

This position is based at our office in Bangalore.

Your Responsibilities will be:

Job Summary: As a Software Architect, you will design and develop sophisticated system architectures for Android-based infotainment platforms. Your role will involve harmonizing the functionality between the user-friendly Android applications and the robust Linux-based systems that support them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of Android-based infotainment solutions that provide cutting‑edge user experiences.
• Ensure smooth integration of Android and Linux components within the system architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable architecture solutions.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams focusing on Android software and Linux system development.
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies in Android and Linux ecosystems.
• Drive innovations by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance and user experience.
• Development and Integration:
• Oversee the implementation of Android platform features, ensuring high performance and UX.
• Collaborate with Linux development teams to enhance platform reliability and scalability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Develop and implement strategies for testing to ensure robustness and performance consistency.
• Lead troubleshooting and debugging efforts to resolve complex architectural issues.
• Project Management:
• Coordinate with project managers to align on timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute to planning and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.

What Qualifications you will bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in software architecture with a focus on Android development.
• Strong expertise in designing and integrating Linux-based systems.
• Deep understanding of automotive infotainment technologies and ecosystems.
• Experience with communication and connectivity protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi).
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills and ability to work under dynamic conditions.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in the automotive technology industry is a strong advantage.
