Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a software engineer to join its growing team in Bangalore, India. You will work on our travel booking platforms, advancing REST APIs, building new features, and contributing to platform design.

You must have strong C# and .NET Core experience, plus hands-on work with Docker, Linux, Redis, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Effective English communication and a passion for clean code and TDD are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in C# development and building REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Docker.
• Experience with Linux, Redis, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL and AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, high availability, and scalable architectures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in C# development
• Experienced in C#, NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, Docker, Linux, Redis, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Ansible, fully automated CI/CD, High Availability, Scalable & performant platform, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), AWS
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Passion for software craftmanship, culture of excellence, clean code, and TDD
• A proven leader – you are goal-oriented, organized, and able to work in teams
• Analytical and creative thinking skills
• Strong work ethic
• Open-minded and adaptable
