Responsibilities
- Perform regular activities including network engineering, application and data cabling troubleshooting, and systems administration across diverse software and hardware environments.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis in problem solving and assist in managing daily departmental activities.
- Recover, reinstall, and reimage operating systems on failed desktops, thin clients, and laptop computers.
- Ensure tickets are closed on time according to defined SLAs; continuously monitor, track, and close tickets within the required timeline.
- Answer phones, handle general inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate parties.
- Maintain up‑to‑date hardware and software inventory lists.
- Perform backup and restore operations.
- Provide remote troubleshooting, deployment, and desktop support.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal English with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills for complex systems and explain IT concepts in simple terms.
- Manage high‑priority projects related to data and voice communication.
- Work independently across shifts with limited supervision.
- Stay current with technical knowledge through educational workshops and training.
- Ensure Microsoft patches and antivirus software are up to date on all endpoints.
- Timely escalated issues to respective vendors when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in BCA, BE/B. Tech, or any graduate program.
- 2+ years of IT Support or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and decommissioning.
- At least 1 year of IT experience with Office 365 support, client, and service delivery.
- At least 1 year of experience in inventory and asset management.
- At least 1 year of knowledge in patch management, antivirus, drive encryption (BitLocker), and file server access management.
