Job summary

Rvm Cad is seeking a Design Engineer to create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings, machine designs, and fabrication drawings. You will prepare BOMs, design components, and drive product development in collaboration with manufacturing teams.

The role requires strong mechanical design knowledge, the ability to read engineering drawings, and experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks to produce manufacturing-friendly solutions.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, fits, and GD&T
• Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
• Experience/knowledge of BOM preparation and component detailing
• Basic understanding of material selection and machining processes
• Ability to develop practical and manufacturing-friendly designs
