Position Title: Designer
Reports To: Content Marketing Lead

Position Summary
The Designersafeguards the visual expression of UNSW Bengaluru across campaigns, digitalproperties, print, and event environments. Owns design systems, multi-formatproduction, accessibility standards, and vendor handoffs to deliver consistent,high-quality assets for Indian audiences.
Accountabilities
- Produce campaign visuals (display, social,email, landing pages), brochures, and OOH layouts to UNSW brand standards.
- Maintain a compliant modular design system(components, templates, grids) to accelerate production without compromisingquality.
- Prepare print-ready files; manage colourprofiles, bleeds, and preflight checks; liaise with printers for QA and proofs.
- Implement accessibility guidelines (contrast,legibility, alt text direction) and multilingual adaptations.
- Manage asset rights/credits; store consentforms; enforce version control and archiving policies.
- Create event signage systems and environmentbranding; coordinate with Events for site plans and wayfinding.
- Support SEO with visual standards for imagemetadata and file naming for performance, in accordance with UNSW Sydneycontent taxonomy requirements.
- Conduct periodic visual audits across campusto identify non-compliant usage and remediate.

Skill & Experience
- Bachelors in Design/ Visual Communication orequivalent portfolio / level of knowledge gained through any other combinationof education, training, and experience.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma;working knowledge of motion graphics.
- Experience across print, out-of-home anddigital production in India; strong QA quality assurance discipline.
- Strong art direction and creative skills that demonstrate anunderstanding of branding, customer/ user experience and how best tocommunicate complex information in a compelling way.
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communicationskills with the ability to work individually and collaboratively across amatrix organisation including experience with Agile Ways of Working and agiletools (e.g. Wrike, Trello, Jira) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to apply judgement, creativity and flexibility to ensureoutputs are delivered on time and on brief.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSWs aims, objectives andvalues in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical)responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safetytraining.
