Job summary

Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) is seeking a Visualization Engineer to create assembly illustrations for engines and powertrain components, translating technical specifications into clear visuals. You will ensure accuracy in assembly sequences and contribute to homologation drawings.

You will work with 3DX, Catia Composer, Teamcenter, Vis-Mockup and Photoshop, collaborating with international teams to visualize vehicle concepts and deliver high-quality visual assets for reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience creating assembly illustrations for vehicle components.
• Solid understanding of vehicle architecture and assembly sequence.
• Ability to translate technical specs into visuals.

Responsibilities

• Create assembly illustrations for assemblies and powertrain components.
• Generate homologation drawings.
• Use 3DX, Catia Composer, Teamcenter, Vis-Mockup, and Photoshop for illustrations.
• Collaborate with design teams and visualize vehicle concepts.
• Edit images in Photoshop to produce high-quality visuals.
• Communicate effectively in English and work with global teams.
• Work with non-CAD tools when needed.
• Proficient in MS Office (PPT, Excel, Word).

Role & responsibilities

• Will be primarily responsible for creating Assembly Illustrations, Engine/Powertrain components Illustrations, and Homologation drawings
• Preferably, possess a solid understanding of vehicle architecture, engine/powertrain components functionality, and assembly sequence.
• Skilled in generating Illustrations using 3DX, Catia Composer, Teamcenter, Vis-Mockup and Photoshop
• Proficient in vehicle architecture to translate technical specifications into visually engaging illustrations.
• Tasks include creating detailed vehicle illustrations using Catia Composer, collaborating with design teams to visualize vehicle concepts, and utilizing 3Dx, Teamcenter, and Vis-Mockup for design reviews.
• Proficient in Photoshop for image editing and creating high-quality visual assets to enhance the vehicle design process.
• Strong communication skills in English are essential.
• Capable of working in an international environment and managing relationships with global, regional, and local employees.
• Good analytical skills are required.
• Should not have hesitance to work on non CAD tools.
• Proficient in MS office suites (PPT, Excel, Word etc.)
