Job summary

Majime Technologies is seeking a creative Fashion Designer to join our men’s clothing brand. You will develop new apparel collections, create garment designs and graphics, and collaborate with sampling and production teams to bring concepts to final products.

Responsibilities include designing silhouettes and colorways, preparing tech packs, and conducting trend research for both international and Indian markets. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or CorelDRAW is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in fashion design for men’s wear and able to translate brand aesthetics into collections.
• Strong sketching and illustration skills for concept development and presentations.
• Ability to prepare tech packs, with measurements, fabrics, trims and construction details.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop men’s apparel collections based on brand aesthetics and trends.
• Create silhouettes, colourways and design details for various men’s wear.
• Develop T-shirt, shirt, hoodie, sweatshirt, jacket, co-ord and other men’s wear designs.
• Create fashion sketches, garment illustrations and design presentations.
• Design prints, graphics, motifs, embroidery and placements.
• Prepare tech packs with measurements, fabrics, trims, artwork and construction details.
• Coordinate with sampling and production teams for sample development.
• Review samples and suggest corrections in fit, fabric, artwork, construction and finishing.
• Conduct trend research for international and Indian men’s fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop men’s apparel collections based on brand aesthetics and current fashion trends.
• Create new silhouettes, garment concepts, colourways and design details.
• Develop T-shirt, shirt, hoodie, sweatshirt, jacket, co-ord and other men’s wear designs.
• Create fashion sketches, garment illustrations and design presentations.
• Design prints, graphics, motifs, embroidery and placements.
• Work confidently on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW.
• Prepare tech packs / spec sheets with measurements, fabric, trims, artwork and construction details.
• Coordinate with the sampling and production team for sample development.
• Review samples and suggest corrections in fit, fabric, artwork, construction and finishing.
• Conduct trend research for international and Indian men’s fashion.
