Job summary

Clarus Advisers in Hyderabad partners with a semiconductor client to recruit a CPU Verification Engineer/Lead. You will verify ARM-based CPU cores, develop unit-level verification plans, and create testbench components to ensure architectural and microarchitectural correctness.

You will collaborate with design and architecture teams, develop stimuli using RIS tools, and drive AI-accelerated verification workflows to improve efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in EE/CE or related field.
• 2–12 years of CPU verification experience.
• Strong knowledge of ARM architecture and CPU microarchitecture verification.

Position Overview

As a CPU Verification Engineer/Lead, you will be involved in development of latest ARM architecture-based CPUs that are engineered for AI execution and are a key component of the Agentic AI hardware stack.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for verification of ARM architecture-based CPU cores
• Develop and execute thorough unit-level verification plans and create new testbench components
• Collaborate closely with design and architecture teams to verify architectural and microarchitectural features
• Develop stimulus using external and in-house RIS tools for end-to-end verification of features
• Analyze and improve existing verification strategies by incorporating AI accelerated workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-12 years of experience in CPU verification.
• Proven expertise in ARM architecture and/or CPU microarchitecture verification.
• Detailed understanding of ARM v9 architecture and/or cache coherency concepts
• Exposure to unit level (Branch-Predictor/Frontend/Load-Store) verification of high-performance CPU cores
• Exposure to stimulus generation using RIS tools
