in Mumbai is seeking a design/proposal engineer with 2–5 years of experience to study customer inquiries, prepare PFDs, P&IDs, layouts and drawings using AutoCAD, and draft techno-commercial proposals and cost estimates. The role involves selecting equipment, obtaining vendor quotes, coordinating with procurement, and delivering technically and commercially feasible solutions with timely proposals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in design/proposal engineering or estimation.
• Knowledge of equipment selection, specs and cost estimation.
• Experience in water treatment, pharmaceutical equipment, process systems or industrial utilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study customer enquiries, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare technical and techno-commercial proposals, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Select suitable equipment, pumps, valves, piping, and instrumentation.
• Obtain vendor quotations and coordinate with procurement for costing.
• Coordinate with Clients, sales and engineering teams to develop technically and commercially feasible solutions.
• Handle proposal revisions, technical clarifications, and documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals.

• Experience in water treatment, pharmaceutical equipment, process systems, or industrial utilities is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
