Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to perform stack-up analyses and hand calculations for aero engine components. You will engage with customers on task status and drive corrective engineering actions for non-conformances, while guiding team members through complex design challenges.

The role requires deep knowledge of design fundamentals, GD&T, and experience with aero engine subsystems.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge in Mechanical design fundamentals, Engineering concepts and applications.
• Rich experience working on aero engine parts in the areas of compressors and turbines.
• Sound understanding of the build and functionality of aero engine and sub-modules.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T application and able to perform Complex Tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Capability to understand and interpret structural analysis results.
• Experience interacting with customers to solve critical problems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• An excellent team player.
