Job summary

Cyient Limited is seeking an experienced aero engine design engineer to perform stack-up analyses, hand calculations, and both conceptual and detailed component design for aero engine parts. You will interact with customers to report task status and provide engineering recommendations when non-conformances arise.

The role emphasizes strong GD&T mastery, structural analysis interpretation, and robust problem-solving in a collaborative team setting. Experience with CAD tools is desirable.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge in mechanical design fundamentals and engineering concepts.
• Rich aero engine parts experience, especially in compressors and turbines.
• Understanding of aero engine build and sub-modules.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to perform complex tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Ability to interpret structural analysis results.
• Experience interacting with customers to solve critical problems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• An excellent team player.

Required Skills:

• Sound knowledge in Mechanical design fundamentals, Engineering concepts and applications.
• Rich experience working on aero engine parts in the areas of compressors and turbines.
• Sound understand in of the build and functionality of aero engine and sub-modules.
• Strong Knowledge of GD&T application and able to perform Complex Tolerance stack-up analysis.
