Job summary

Turner International India in Mumbai seeks an experienced Architect to lead preconstruction design efforts from concept through GFC, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design quality and timely approvals.

The ideal candidate holds a B. Arch with 8+ years in preconstruction, demonstrating leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive large-scale projects to meet client goals.

Qualifications

• B. Arch degree with 8+ years of preconstruction experience.
• Experience leading projects from concept to GFC.
• Self-leading with cross-stakeholder coordination ability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve design goals.
• Lead mockups and look-and-feel approvals.
• Schedule, conduct, and document owner-architect and coordination meetings.
• Maintain QA/QC processes for the project.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports for design processes.
• Manage design and submittal during pre-construction stages.
• Review GFC drawings and coordinate with consultants.
• Coordinate daily with internal stakeholders.
• Prepare meeting matrices for coordination.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by management.
• Prepare MIS report for construction activities.

Job description

• To Collaborating with our own team and with other departments and stakeholders to achieve design goals.
• To Participate in preparation of various studies, recommendations for materials and methods, and cost estimates.
• To Take lead in Mock up, look and feel approvals.
• To Schedule, conduct, and document all job, owner-architect, and coordination meetings.
• To Ensure appropriate Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes are established and maintained for project.
• To Prepare relevant portions of monthly report related to all design processes.
• To Manage design and submittal processes during pre-construction stages.
• To Review and comment on submitted GFC Drawings
• To Coordinate with consultants for drawings Review i.e. concept, schematic and GFC
• To coordinate on Daily basis with Internal stake holders.
• To prepare matrix for conducting meetings.
• To carry out other tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.
• To ensure preparation of MIS Report on monthly basis for all construction activities.

• Experience of 8+ years of Preconstruction experience in Projects.
• Self-leading projects from Conceptual till GFC.
