Job summary

DRK Projects in Bengaluru requires an experienced architect to develop architectural concepts, space planning, and detailed drawings for construction. The role involves coordinating with structural and MEP teams to ensure drawings meet project specs and regulations.

You will review design feasibility, prepare GFC and execution drawings, and monitor schedules to support timely delivery on site.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, space planning, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Prepare detailed GFC drawings and execution drawings in line with project specs.
• Coordinate drawings for structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other services.
• Review design feasibility, functionality, aesthetics, and constructability.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, and site engineers.
• Conduct design coordination meetings and track project deliverables.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies, technical queries, and site-related design issues.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals.
• Monitor design schedules and ensure timely issuance of drawings for construction.
• Coordinate site inspections and communicate design clarifications to the execution team.
• Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action trackers, and progress reports.

Job description

• Develop architectural concepts, space planning, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Prepare design layouts in accordance with client requirements, project specifications, and applicable building regulations.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural and building services requirements.
• Review design feasibility, functionality, aesthetics, and constructability.

• Prepare detailed Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, working drawings, and execution drawings.
• Develop architectural plans, elevations, sections, door and window schedules, and construction details.
• Prepare and coordinate drawings for structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building services.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with project specifications.
• Incorporate design revisions and maintain updated drawing registers and revision records.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, material specifications, and preparation of BOQs where required.
