Job summary

Homzinterio in Bangalore is seeking a dynamic Design Manager to drive growth by converting leads into projects, overseeing the design process, and guiding a team of interior designers. You will coordinate client meetings, present concepts, negotiate pricing, and ensure a seamless onboarding and handover while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

You will lead, mentor, and manage designers, allocate work, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across design outputs and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Proven sales closing track record and revenue targets achieved.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and client-facing skills.
• Excellent English and regional language communication.
• Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Convert leads into confirmed projects by understanding client requirements and presenting design solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, consultations, and site discussions to identify customer needs.
• Prepare and present design concepts, mood boards, quotations, and project proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and close sales while achieving monthly revenue targets.
• Drive additional revenue through upselling modular furniture, décor, furnishings, and other value-added services.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for every client after sales closure.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of residential interior design, modular furniture, and space planning.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and regional languages.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
