Job summary

Qualcomm is looking for a Hardware Engineer in Bengaluru, India, to join their Engineering Group. As a Hardware Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, designing, and testing cutting-edge electronic systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure performance requirements are met.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's/PhD with lesser experience, and expertise in synthesis tools, formal verification, and scripting.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience in the following areas: Expertise in synthesis tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler, DCG/DC_NXT/Fusion Compiler, Cadence RC/Genus; multi‑voltage, power‑aware synthesis, UPF flows, low‑power designs.
• Expertise in formal verification with Cadence LEC/Synopsys Formality.
• Expertise in writing and debugging timing constraints.
• Proficiency in Perl and/or TCL scripting, makefile flows.

Additional Qualifications

• Masters in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working on integration or RTL design is considered plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Track record of driving ideas from design through commercialization.
