Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Hardware Engineer to plan, design, verify and test electronic systems including digital/analog/RF/DSP, FP information, and packaging. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet performance requirements.

The candidate will work on RTL synthesis, DFT insertions, timing closure, and validation across various hardware subsystems, with emphasis on delivering world-class products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years hardware engineering or related experience
• Master's degree with 1+ year hardware engineering or related experience
• PhD in related field

Responsibilities

• RTL Synthesis to achieve best Performance/Power/Area
• DFT insertions including MBIST and SCAN, setup timing constraints for functional and test modes
• Run static low-power checks on gate level netlists
• Verify Logic Equivalency Checks RTL to Gates and Gates to Gates
• Setup signoff Static Timing Analysis and ECO flows with Design/DFT/PD teams
• Timing analysis with STA tools
• Constraints debugging and sanity checks

Education

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Design Implementation:

• RTL Synthesis to achieve the best Performance/Power/Area of the designs
