Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer Transmission Design with 3 6 years of experience in the automotive powertrain domain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in Unigraphics NX (UG NX) for 3D modeling and detailing of transmission and powertrain components. The role involves working closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to develop high‑quality designs that meet customer and industry standards.

Note: A UG NX Tool Test is mandatory for all shortlisted candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings using Unigraphics NX (UG NX).
• Design and develop transmission and powertrain components in accordance with customer specifications and engineering standards.
• Apply GD&T principles and ensure compliance with engineering drawing standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including project managers, manufacturing, quality, and technical specialists.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.
• Support prototype development, manufacturing, and product validation activities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Unigraphics NX (UG NX) for 3D modeling and drafting.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Casting, Machining, Sheet Metal, and Plastics.
• Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Transmission Design.

• Exposure to Chassis, BIW (Body in White), or Interior/Exterior Components Design.
