Job summary

Ramboll in India is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Towers and Telecom department. You will perform static calculations and design mast and tower structures in steel and concrete for telecom projects, including tender and detailed designs.

Collaborate with senior engineers, analyze geotechnical reports, and prepare drawings and BOQ while applying global standards like IS 456 and EN 1992. English, Hindi, and Telugu communication will be important in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• B Tech/M Tech in structural engineering is required.
• Minimum 1 year design experience with IS 456/IS-875/IS 1893.
• Proficiency with STAAD or ETabs and CAD tools is preferred.

As our new Structural Engineer, you will be part of our dynamic and highly motivated team that solves technical challenging and interesting tasks on a broad range of areas across steel and concrete structures. You will in a close and constructive manner collaborate with colleagues about design of wind-affected structures such as masts and towers.

Job Description

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Perform static calculations on large and small projects, focusing on the assessment and design of new structures.
• Design mast and tower structures in steel and concrete for telecom projects, including tender and detailed designs.
• Design and drawings for the strengthening of steel and concrete structures.
• Prepare structural drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Analyze the geotechnical report to prepare concrete foundation for masts and towers.
• Assist senior engineer in delivering projects on time.

• B Tech/ M. Tech Structural engineering
• A minimum of 1 years of experience in design work is required. Proficiency in design standards such as IS 456, IS-875, IS 1893, IS-800, and international standards like ACI 318 and EN 1992 is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in modeling and designing steel and concrete structures using STAAD or ETabs software.
• Skilled in CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Zwcad.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge in structural engineering.
• Ability to work systematically and focus on assigned task
• Must possess strong teamwork skills.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
