Overview

Design Engineer - Structural at Ramboll. As our new Structural Engineer, you will be part of our Towers and Telecom department and work on design of wind-affected structures such as masts and towers.

Responsibilities

• Perform static calculations on large and small projects, focusing on the assessment and design of new structures.
• Design mast and tower structures in steel and concrete for telecom projects, including tender and detailed designs.
• Design and drawings for the strengthening of steel and concrete structures.
• Prepare structural drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Analyze the geotechnical report to prepare concrete foundation for masts and towers.
• Assist senior engineer in delivering projects on time.

Qualifications

• M. Tech Structural Engineering
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in design work is required. Proficiency in design standards such as IS 456, IS-875, IS 1893, IS-800, and international standards like ACI 318 and EN 1992 is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in modeling and designing steel and concrete structures using STAAD or ETabs software.
• Skilled in CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Zwcad.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge in structural engineering.
• Ability to work systematically and focus on assigned tasks.
• Must possess strong teamwork skills.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
