Job summary

Quest Global in Chennai is seeking a Modeller/Detailer with a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and 4–5 years of experience. The candidate must be expert in the Sheetmetal module of PTC Creo (modelling and detailing) and familiar with sheetmetal shop floor practices, material sizes, and related materials.

Knowledge of PLM tools such as Teamcenter or Windchill is mandatory, with AutoCAD as a desired plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with 4–5 years of experience.
• Expert in Sheetmetal module of PTC Creo (Modelling and Detailing).
• Sheetmetal shop floor practices and material sizes knowledge.
• PLM tools: Teamcenter or Windchill.
• AutoCAD knowledge desired.
• Strong communication and ability to work with a global workforce.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Diesel Generator knowledge is a plus.

Job Description For Modeller / Detailer

• The Candidate should be Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 5 years of experience.
• Must be well versed with Sheetmetal Module of PTC Creo ( Modelling and Detailing ) – Expert level.
• Should have knowledge of Sheetmetal Shop Floor practices. Should know raw material standard sizes, different materials etc. related to Sheetmetal.
• Mandatory requirement to have knowledge on PLM (Product Life Management) Tool – Ex. Teamcenter, Windchill
• Knowledge of Auto CAD is desired.
• Good Communication and capable to work with Global work force.
• Very good hands on experience in handling Microsoft Office tools – Ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Diesel Generator knowledge would be an added advantage.
