Job summary

Jcbl in India is seeking a SolidWorks design engineer to design automotive seats, seat frames, brackets and mechanisms. The role includes preparing 3D models, 2D drawings and BOMs, and ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

You will coordinate with production, quality and purchasing teams, support prototypes, and apply GD&T tolerance standards while maintaining design documentation and revisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SolidWorks experience mandatory.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling, part modelling, assemblies and 2D drawing generation.
• Understanding of automotive seat structures, sheet metal components, fabrication and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances and BOM preparation.
