Job summary

People, Jobs, and News in Delhi looks for an enclosure design engineer to design and validate mechanical and mechatronic systems for automation projects. You will create electromechanical assemblies, build detailed drawings, and support manufacturing with DFM/DFA practices.

You will use CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, run FEA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate specs into robust designs for automotive, robotics, and IoT-enabled factory environments.

Qualifications

• Solid CAD proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Experience with FEA (ANSYS) and tolerance analysis (GD&T).
• Exposure to PLC basics and robotics integration is desirable.
• DFM (design for manufacturability) knowledge is important.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate mechanical/mechatronic systems for automation, prototyping, and production deployment using CAD tools.
• Develop electromechanical assemblies integrating sensors, actuators, motors, and control systems for industrial applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional specs into detailed mechanical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Perform tolerance analysis, FEA simulations, and prototype testing to ensure robustness under operational loads.
• Support manufacturing teams with DFM/DFA optimization and supplier coordination for component sourcing and assembly.
• Iterate on designs based on field feedback, performance data, and evolving client requirements.
