Qualifications

• Good understanding of electrical schematics and busbar sizing.
• Familiarity with IEC/IS standards and customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LT electrical panels including PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC and VFD panels.
• Prepare SLDs, GA drawings, power/control diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Create detailed panel layouts, component arrangements and busbar layouts.
• Ensure busbar and cable sizing meet dimensions and specs.
• Verify designs comply with IEC/IS standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Estimation and Production for execution.
• Incorporate customer comments and revisions in drawings.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, testing and FAT.
• Resolve design-related issues during production.

Role Description

We are looking for a technically proficient Design Engineer with hands-on experience in LT electrical panel design and manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical drawings, developing panel layouts and ensuring designs meet customer specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibility:

• Design and develop LT electrical panels such as PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, PDB and control panels.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, power and control circuit diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare detailed panel layouts, component arrangements and busbar layouts.
• Ensure proper busbar sizing, cable sizing, panel dimensions and component placement.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable IEC/IS standards and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with Estimation, Production teams for smooth execution.
• Review and incorporate customer comments and required drawing revisions.
• Provide technical support during panel manufacturing, assembly, testing and FAT.
• Resolve design-related technical issues during the manufacturing process.

Required Skills:

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Min. 2 years of relevant experience in LT panel design.
• Strong knowledge of LT panel design and manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC and VFD panels.
• Working knowledge of EPLAN is preferred.
• Good understanding of electrical schematics, control circuits and power circuits.
• Knowledge of electrical switchgear selection and busbar sizing.
• Ability to independently prepare SLD, GA, wiring diagrams and BOM.
• Good coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
