Job summary

Actemium India, a VINCI Energies unit, seeks a Lead Electrical Design Engineer – Control Panel to lead MCC/PCC and control panel design, ensure IEC/IS compliance, and deliver projects on time with a skilled team.

You will review schematics, BOMs, coordinate with production and clients, drive cost optimization, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 8–12 years of panel design experience with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Experience with MCC/PCC and control panel design, and adherence to IEC/IS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of MCC, PCC, and control panels per project requirements.
• Review electrical schematics, GA drawings, and BOMs.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and IEEE standards.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Interact with clients for design approvals and clarifications.
• Drive cost optimization and design standardization.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Purpose of the Role

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and engineering of MCC, PCC, and control panels. The role involves ensuring design quality, adherence to standards, and timely delivery while guiding a team of engineers.
