Job summary

Goken invites a Design Engineer to join our Pune engineering center to design automotive chassis and structures using CATIA. The role focuses on layout development, part packaging, and achieving performance targets across mobility projects.

The ideal candidate holds BE/BTech in engineering with 4–7 years of chassis/structures experience, and demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, plus CATIA V5 or V6 proficiency. This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Pune.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years Automotive Chassis/Structures/Frame experience.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 or CATIA V6.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to develop layout for mobility systems.
• Develop Layout in CATIA to accommodate part packaging while ensuring performance targets.
• Expertise in CATIA - Part Design, Generative shape design, Drafting & Assembly Design workbenches.
• Search new ways to increase efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce design and parts costs.

Summary:

Design Engineer with Automotive Chassis/Structures/Frame experience using CATIA. This role is open to all Chassis experience, although we would prefer Suspension, Subframe, Steering experience candidates.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Apply engineering principles to develop layout for mobility systems.
• 2. Develop Layout in CATIA to accommodate part packaging while ensuring that those parts achieve performance targets.
• 3. Expertise in CATIA - Part Design, Generative shape design, Drafting & Assembly Design workbenches.
• 4. Search new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce design and parts costs.

Qualifications:

• BE/BTECH
• 1. Minimum BE/B-Tech in Engineering and 4-7 years Automotive Chassis/Structures/Frame experience.
• 2. Experience using 3-D modeling software tools (specifically CATIA V5 or CATIA V6).
• 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
