Job summary

Goken India’s Pune center is seeking a Design Engineer with Automotive Plastics experience using CATIA to drive layout and part packaging for mobility systems.

You will apply engineering principles, develop CATIA-based layouts, and work with Part Design, Generative Shape Design, and drafting workbenches to meet performance targets while aiming to reduce costs and improve quality.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience using CATIA for automotive plastics and layout design.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to develop layout for mobility systems.
• Develop CATIA layouts to optimize part packaging and achieve performance targets.
• Expertise in CATIA Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Drafting & Assembly Design workbenches.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to develop layout for mobility systems.
• Develop Layout in CATIA to accommodate part packaging while ensuring that those parts achieve performance targets.
• Expertise in CATIA - Part Design, Generative shape design, Drafting & Assembly Design workbenches.
• Search new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce parts costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum BE/B-Tech in Engineering and 3-7 years relevant industry experience.
• Experience using 3-D modeling software tools (CATIA V5 or CATIA V6).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
