Job summary

ALTEN India seeks a Design Engineer - Trims UGNX in Chennai to design and develop automotive switch components using UG NX for interior switch design. You will create 3D models and drawings, ensure conformity to commodity design rules, and manage layout studies in the information system.

The role requires a BE or ME in Mechanical or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience, based in Chennai with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• BE or Master in Mechanical or relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of automotive switch components.
• Experience in design of switches & electrical components.
• Proficient with UG NX for interior switch design and 3D modelling.
• Create drawings, 3D models, and layout studies; archive them in the information system.
• Ensure technical convergence and knowledge of passenger vehicles.
