Job summary

Asangaon-based Design Engineer role requires expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD with strong drafting skills. The candidate will lead the development of detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for bulk fluid handling equipment, ensuring compliance with ASME and ISO standards.

The position collaborates with shop floor to resolve fabrication and assembly issues, performs structural and materials calculations, and maintains complete technical documentation and BOMs for each project.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on design experience in mechanical projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and drafting.
• Familiarity with ASME, ISO standards and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and drafting: create detailed drawings and 3D models for fabrication.
• Provide production support to resolve welding, fabrication and assembly issues.
• Perform engineering calculations for structural integrity, material selection and weight optimization.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and project documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards (ASME, ISO).

Urgently required for the post of Design Engineer at Asangaon.

About Company : Our Client into design, manufacturing, sales & service organization providing customized bulk fluid handling and safety access solutions.

Position- Design Engineer(SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ASME Section 8,fabrication,sheet metal, ISO is Must ).

Job Location Asangaon (If you are willing to relocate for the job, the company is ready to provide bachelor accommodation.)

Qualification Diploma / B.E Mechanical Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience – 5 years +

Responsibilities:

Design & Drafting: Create detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and fabrication using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Production Support: Collaborate with the shop floor to solve fabrication, welding, and assembly issues.

Engineering Analysis: Perform calculations for structural integrity, material selection, and weight optimization, review of data sheets and customer specifications.

Documentation: Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), technical specifications, and project documentation.

Quality & Safety: Ensure designs comply with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO)
