Job summary

Paranjape Autocast in India is seeking a CAD/Design engineer to prepare solid models of parts and tooling using Creo or NX, and to generate 2D drawings and sub-drawings for components.

The role includes updating standards and engineering change specifications, validating drawings, maintaining drawing issue records, and preparing gating system drawings with simulations. The incumbent will implement 5S activities and drive corrective actions on rejections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solid models of parts and tooling using Creo, NX CAD software.
• Create 2D drawings and component sub-drawings.
• Update engineering change specifications and standards.
• Update drawings and verify their validity.
• Maintain issue records of drawings.
• Prepare gating system drawings and simulate parts with prepared gating.
• Implement 5S activities in the engineering workflow.
• Take corrective and preventive actions on rejections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of solid models of parts / tooling by Creo, /Nx CAD software Preparation of operation process sequence.
• To prepare 2D drawings / components sub drawings.
• To update standards and engineering change specifications.
• To update drawings / check validity of drawings.
• To maintain issue record of drawings.
• To prepare gating system drawings.
• To simulate the parts w.r.t. prepared gating.
• To implement 5 S activities.
• To take corrective and preventive actions on rejection.

AUTHORITIES

• Authority to issue drawings to concerned departments.
• To share CAD data with Customer / Suppliers
