Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering data specialist to manage SAP articles, BOMs, and material master data with cross-functional coordination across PLD, planning, purchase, manufacturing and finance.

The role involves ensuring technical completeness of master data, SAP changes, and monthly KPI analysis, while training new staff and maintaining ISO-aligned documentation. German language skills are a plus; location is Pune, India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems; SAP preferable.
• German language knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Creation and extension of article nos. in SAP with coordination of PLD, planning, purchase, manufacturing and finance.
• Ensure technical completeness (Ex. BOM, documents, routing, cost run) of material master.
• Verify MM change request / notification of change and change SAP master data as per request of various functions.
• Creation of material BOM using Team center BOM structure.
• Creation of project BOM and add material to network.
• Monthly checks for the correctness of material master data.
• Release product cost book to sales every year.
• Validation of cost book against executed orders.
• Impart Material master / DMS training to new employee.
• Participate in weekly MDM meeting.
• Provide support for testing in case of changes in SAP blue print.
• Prepare and analyse monthly KPIs.
• Maintain documentation and records as per ISO guidelines.
• Maintain and adhere IMS (QMS + EMS) procedures.
• Creation of work center nos. in SAP.
• Co ordinate with BCAG, external agency for the German -> English translation.
• Interact / co-ordinate with Principal in Switzerland.
• Keep control on Drawings pending to release from long time.
• Support to CSS, CO and SHP team for Material code creation.

Education, Experience And Languages

• Knowledge of MS Office, any ERP system, SAP preferable.
