Job summary

Shyam Global Technoventures in India seeks a field-based sales professional to drive diesel generator solutions across assigned regions. You will identify new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors and own leads from generation to closure.

The role requires a BE/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical, 4–8 years in DG sets or power backup sales, a proven deal-closure track record, and strong knowledge of the industrial sales cycle and client management.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years experience in DG sets / power backup / industrial equipment sales.
• Proven track record of successful deal closures.
• Strong understanding of industrial sales cycle and client handling.

Role & responsibilities

• Execute sales strategies for diesel generator solutions across the assigned region
• Identify and generate new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors
• Take complete ownership of leads from generation to final closure
• Drive strong follow-ups, negotiations, and ensure timely deal closures
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, EPC contractors, and consultants
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable DG solutions
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, BOQs, and quotations
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project execution
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently
• Maintain accurate sales data and updates in CRM systems

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• 48 years of experience in DG sets / power backup / industrial equipment sales
• Proven track record of successful deal closures
• Strong understanding of industrial sales cycle and client handling
