Happening Design is seeking a talented Designer to craft accessible, visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile. You will collaborate with design engineers, developers, and stakeholders to turn complex problems into simple user-centric solutions.

With 3–5 years of experience and a strong portfolio, you’ll apply UX fundamentals, visual design, and AI-assisted workflows to improve exploration, speed, and decision-making. The role supports hybrid work and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional Visual/UX Design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Strong typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing and visual consistency.
• Solid UX fundamentals: research, IA, flows, interaction, usability, accessibility.
• AI-driven mindset to integrate AI tools into the design process.
• Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
• Experience creating interactive prototypes to validate decisions.
• Systems thinking to break down complex problems.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS and how products are implemented.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and ability to articulate design rationale.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex user and business problems into intuitive user journeys and digital experiences.
• Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Apply strong UX fundamentals and visual design principles to create clear, consistent, and engaging experiences.
• Use AI as an integral part of your design process for research, ideation, exploration, prototyping, content, analysis, and design iteration.
• Develop interactive prototypes that effectively simulate real-world interactions and support usability testing.
• Apply systems thinking to understand interconnected user, product, and business problems and design scalable solutions.
• Understand front-end fundamentals and use your knowledge of HTML and CSS to communicate effectively with developers and ensure design feasibility.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Visual/UX Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design projects.
• Strong visual sense with a good understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, composition, and visual consistency.
• Strong UX fundamentals, including user research, information architecture, user flows, interaction design, usability, and accessibility.
• An AI-driven design mindset which demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools and workflows into the design process to improve exploration, speed, quality, and decision-making.
• Strong proficiency in wire-framing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
• Experience creating interactive prototypes that simulate real user interactions and help validate design decisions.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to break down complex problems into simple, scalable experiences.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS and an understanding of how digital products are implemented.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate the "why" behind design decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, respond to feedback, and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.
