Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Design Engineer based in India to shape intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will work at the intersection of UX, visual design, systems thinking, and technology to turn complex problems into simple, meaningful experiences.

You will collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, accessible solutions that balance user needs with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional UX, visual, product, or digital design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work.
• Strong visual design skills: typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, composition and visual consistency.
• Knowledge of UX fundamentals: research, information architecture, flows, interaction, usability and accessibility.
• Ability to integrate AI-assisted workflows into the design process.
• Prototyping and high-fidelity UI design expertise.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, understanding delivery.
• Strong communication and storytelling to explain design decisions.
• Comfort working in fast-paced Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex user and business challenges into intuitive journeys, IA, and experiences.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile products.
• Apply UX and visual design principles across typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, composition, usability, and accessibility.
• Integrate AI tools and workflows into research, ideation, exploration, prototyping, content creation, analysis, and design iteration.
• Develop interactive prototypes that simulate product interactions and support usability testing.

• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, usability, and consistency across devices.
• Present design concepts with clear storytelling and rationale.

You will also incorporate AI-driven tools and workflows into research, ideation, prototyping, analysis, and iteration. Accountabilities

• Translate complex user and business challenges into intuitive user journeys, information architectures, and digital experiences.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, incorporate stakeholder feedback constructively, and contribute effectively within a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in UX, visual, product, or digital design, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work.

• Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, composition, and visual consistency.

• Solid understanding of UX fundamentals such as user research, information architecture, user flows, interaction design, usability, and accessibility.

• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools and AI-assisted workflows into the design process to improve exploration, speed, quality, and decision-making.

• Strong proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI design.

• Experience creating interactive prototypes that simulate real-world user interactions and help validate design decisions.

• Strong systems-thinking abilities, with the capacity to break complex problems into clear, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with an understanding of how digital products are implemented and delivered.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly explain the reasoning behind design decisions.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, respond positively to feedback, and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with designers, developers, engineers, product stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
