Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an engineer to design and engineer water supply and distribution systems, including transmission mains, distribution networks, pumping systems, reservoirs and related infrastructure. You will perform hydraulic modelling, calculations and detailed drawings to support feasibility studies and tender documentation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake design and engineering of water supply and distribution systems, including transmission mains, distribution networks, pumping systems, reservoirs and associated infrastructure.
• Carry out hydraulic modelling and analysis for water supply networks and transmission systems.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations, design reports, technical notes and engineering documentation.
• Develop and review layouts, profiles, schematics and detailed engineering drawings.
• Prepare design criteria, technical specifications, BOQs and tender documentation.
• Review existing water supply systems and identify requirements for augmentation, rehabilitation and improvement.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, SCADA and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Review drawings and technical submissions from consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Support preparation of feasibility studies, DPRs, tender documents and detailed project reports.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian standards, project specifications and relevant international standards, wherever applicable.
• Assist in site visits, surveys and technical assessments as required.
• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions and incorporate agreed comments into the design.
• Provide technical support during construction and respond to RFIs/design clarifications.
• Ensure deliverables are completed within the agreed timelines and quality requirements.
