Job summary

Ontrack HR Services Pvt LTD in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, invites a Design Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our manufacturing team. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, release GD&T compliant drawings, and manage part codes and BOMs with precision.

Responsibilities include implementing CAPA via ECR/ECN, developing concepts for new products based on market needs, and assisting with pump order documents (GAD, CSD, PDS, PPC).

Qualifications

• Diploma or engineering degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience in design engineering.
• Experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is a must.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and drafting standards.
• Experience releasing part codes and BOMs on time.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and associative 2D drawings for parts and assemblies.
• Release first time right drawings using correct GD&T principles.
• Release part codes and product bill of materials on time without errors.
• Implement CAPA based on feedback from production/site/internal customers via ECR/ECN process.
• Create concepts for new products based on market needs and customer requirements.
• Assist in pump order documents creation such as GAD, CSD, PDS, PPC.
• SAP ERP knowledge is desirable (not mandatory).
• AutoCAD Inventor CAD software knowledge desirable (not mandatory).

Job Description

The following are the Responsibilities and skillsets for a Design Engineer

Should be well versed with the best 3D modelling and 2D drafting practices.

Create 3D models and associative 2D drawings for parts and assemblies.

Release first time right drawings using correct GD&T principles.

Release part codes and product bill of materials on time without errors.

Implement CAPA based on the feedback from production/site/Internal customers for

engineering design related issues through the ECR/ECN process.

Create concepts for New products based on market needs & customer requirements.

Assist in Pump order documents creation such as GAD, CSD, PDS, PPC for

SAP ERP Knowledge is desirable (not mandatory)

AutoCAD Inventor CAD software knowledge desirable (not mandatory)
