Job summary

Total Environment in Bengaluru is seeking a Design Engineer to develop innovative metalworks products. You will translate client needs into manufacturable designs using CAD tools and coordinate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers.

Responsibilities include creating 2D/3D drawings, prototypes, BOMs, and cost estimates; ensuring compliance with standards; and supporting production to resolve technical issues.

• Develop prototypes or mock-ups to validate designs and modify based on feedback and testing results.
• Conduct design reviews and coordinate with stakeholders to align with project objectives.
• Generate BOMs and cost estimates for production purposes.
• Work closely with production to provide design support and resolve technical issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in metalworks design.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of design iterations, specifications, and changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards throughout the design process.
