• Coordinate with project teams and site visit inputs.
• Manage approval process for drawings with consultants.
• Ensure timely release of approved drawings.
• Review quantity take-off with the Design Manager.

Job description

Complete responsibility for design and value engineering.

Receiving the Customer PO copy, BOQ and technical specifications along with tender/design Drawings in autoCAD format for shop drawing preparation from the Project Lead.

All the site input needs to be collected thru site visit in coordination with the project Manager and Project Lead.

Responsible for preparation of the shop drawings as per the project schedule as per Project Lead’s requirement.

If any bottle neck arises immediately need to discuss with the Design Manager for better understanding to improve the quality of the drawings.

Responsible for approval of drawings from the consultants and coordination with the Architects and Consultants in association with the Project Lead.

Responsible to release the approved drawings to the Project Manager through project lead immediately without delay.

Responsible for quantity take off and same to be reviewed with the Design Manager, signed by Head- Engineering and submitted to sending to Project lead.

Upload approved drawings on the Document Manager.

Update of drawing status to project lead on weekly basis.

Responsible for preparation of As Built Drawings as per the inputs from the site team through the Project Lead during weekly meetings.

Responsible for keeping As Built Drawings for min period of 5 years and upload on document manager.

Maintaining good relationship with the Architects and Consultants.

Upload all documents/drawings on Document Manager.
