Job summary

You will coordinate Architecture, Civil, Structural, MEP and Planning inputs, track design deliverables, resolve drawing discrepancies, and support timely decisions at site. Qualifications

• Qualification: B.Arch / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience: 8–12 years of design coordination experience in real estate or construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Architecture, Civil, Structural, MEP and Planning inputs with internal teams.
• Track design drawings, revisions, specifications, and other deliverables.
• Support project execution by resolving design queries and drawing discrepancies.
• Act as liaison between design, planning, contracts, procurement and execution teams.
• Coordinate design reviews to identify interface issues and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Monitor design progress against schedules and highlight critical issues to management.
• Coordinate design revisions and communicate approved changes to stakeholders.
• Organize design coordination meetings and follow up on actions.
• Align drawings and inputs with project milestones and requirements.
• Provide regular updates on deliverables, approvals, and risks.

Role & responsibilities

• Internal Design Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, including Architecture, Civil, Structural, MEP, Planning, and other relevant departments, to ensure timely availability and alignment of design inputs.
• Design Deliverables Management: Track design drawings, revisions, specifications, and other deliverables to ensure timely issuance and availability as per project requirements.
• Project Execution Support: Work closely with project execution teams to resolve design‑related queries, clarify drawing discrepancies, and facilitate timely decisions to avoid delays at site.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Act as a single point of coordination between design, planning, contracts, procurement, and execution teams to ensure design requirements are addressed effectively.
• Design Review and Compliance: Coordinate design reviews to identify interface issues, discrepancies, and execution constraints, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor design progress against project schedules, maintain trackers for pending inputs and approvals, and highlight critical issues to management for timely resolution.
• Change Management: Coordinate design revisions and communicate approved changes to relevant stakeholders to ensure implementation of the latest drawings and prevent rework.
• Meeting and Follow‑up: Organize design coordination meetings, document key decisions and action points, and follow up with concerned teams for timely closure.
• Project Requirement Alignment: Understand site execution priorities and coordinate with design teams to ensure drawings and technical inputs are provided in line with project milestones.
• Management Reporting: Provide regular updates on design deliverables, pending approvals, coordination issues, and risks affecting project execution.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of real estate development and construction project execution.
• Ability to track multiple design deliverables and project timelines.
• Strong communication, follow‑up, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and AutoCAD; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Qualification: B.Arch / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience in design coordination, preferably in real estate or construction projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Preferred Experience: Coordination between in‑house design teams, consultants, and project execution teams.
