Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited in Mumbai seeks an experienced Execution Trader/Dealer to service Indian institutional and HNW clients across derivatives and cash equities. You will leverage our trading platforms to execute orders, manage risk and build strong client relationships.

The role requires deep knowledge of equity derivatives, Greeksoft proficiency, and ability to operate in a global trading environment with a strong analytical focus.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification with a strong academic record, ideally in a quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience servicing Indian institutional and HNW clients as an execution trader/dealer across derivatives and cash equities.
• Strong knowledge of equity derivatives (futures, options, indices and ETFs) with extensive execution experience and Greeksoft proficiency.
• Ability to communicate ideas succinctly in English; strong knowledge of risk management and global trading procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution process in India and strengthen existing client relationships.
• Collaborate with regional teams in Asia to expand market reach in the region.
• Leverage trading tools and platforms to deliver best-in-class services for cash equity, futures, options and equity finance strategies.

As a member of an established team, you will be involved in leveraging our various trading tools and platforms to continue to offer our institutional client’s new ways to execute through Macquarie globally. Working across regional teams in Asia, you will drive the execution process in India, strengthen existing client relationships and continue to expand our market reach in the region.

• Ability to communicate ideas succinctly with fluency in English and detailed knowledge of risk management, technical and operation procedures in a global institutional equity trading environment
• Strong data analytics capabilities for index, derivatives and stocks, demonstrated expertise in excel and building computational models for trading, index rebalance and arbitrage
• Driven, commercially-minded, excellent attention to detail and the ability to make quick judgements and thrive in a collaborative team culture with a strong sense of ownership.
