Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a field services engineer to perform installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of building systems under supervision. You will support design reviews, assist system integration, and help ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires willingness to travel to site assignments, good communication, and a solid engineering background. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in field execution, system implementation or maintenance activities.
• Basic understanding of system integration and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Perform field execution activities including installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems under supervision.
• Support intermediate-level design activities, including reviewing system layouts, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Participate in project delivery by assisting in system integration, configuration, and optimization activities.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols during execution.
• Provide technical support in resolving onsite issues and ensuring smooth system functionality.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities as part of O&M support.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for effective project execution.
• Maintain proper documentation of site activities, reports, and system changes.
