Montra Electric is seeking a highly skilled engineer to manage EBOM releases in PLM for light and commercial vehicle programs. The role focuses on building ready BOMs for prototypes, controlling new vehicle configurations, and ensuring timely ECN closures with robust traceability.

You will lead Pre-ECN discussions with cross-functional teams, assess change impacts on vehicle interfaces and regulatory compliance, and help reduce BOM discrepancies through thorough reviews and data quality

Formación

• Experience with EBOM release in PLM for vehicle programs.
• Proven ability to build-ready BOMs for prototypes and validation.
• Strong capability in change-management and ECN reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Accurate EBOM release in PLM for multiple vehicle platforms and projects.
• Build-ready BOMs for prototype and validation vehicles.
• Controlled new vehicle configuration creation and complexity management.
• Timely closure of engineering changes with ECN reviews and approvals.
• Pre-ECN and post-ECN BOM traceability and documentation.
• Assess change impact on interfaces, regulations and performance.
• Reduce discrepancies through frontloaded reviews and data quality.
• Lead Pre-ECN discussions with cross-functional teams for planning.
• Coordinate with CFT to resolve critical field concerns.
• DMU review, DFA, DFS checks for ECN parts affected.

Role & responsibilities

• Accurate and complete vehicle EBOM release in PLM for various vehicle platforms & projects on small/light commercial vehicles
• Build-ready BOM for prototype and validation vehicles
• Controlled new vehicle configuration creation & complexity management
• Timely closure of engineering changes by review & approval of ECNs raised by vehicle systems
• Pre-ECN and post-ECN BOM traceability
• Effective change-impact assessment including vehicle interfaces, regulatory compliance & performance aspects
• Reduced BOM/build discrepancies by frontloading systematic reviews
• Improved engineering data quality and change-management process
• Leading Pre-ECN discussions with CFT for implementation impact & planning
• Co-ordinate with CFT for critical field concerns resolution related engineering changes
• DMU review, DFA, DFS checks for ECN affected parts
