Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end transportation and logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to service levels.

• Manage transporter and LSP performance, commercial agreements, and onboarding of partners.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Transportation and Logistics Management

• Manage end-to-end transportation and logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to agreed service levels and TAT.
• Drive freight cost optimization through shipment consolidation, load optimization, route rationalization and effective transporter utilization.
• Negotiate freight rates, benchmark LSP commercials against industry standards and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage transporter and LSP performance, commercial agreements, service quality and onboarding of new logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment tracking, LR updates, delivery performance and freight billing accuracy.
• Develop and maintain logistics MIS, dashboards and performance reports covering freight costs, savings, transporter performance and service levels.
• Demonstrate excellent advanced Excel skills for data analysis, cost comparison, reporting automation and dashboard development.
• Demonstrate excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills to prepare management reviews, cost-benefit analyses and data-driven business recommendations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve logistics issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with transportation-related documentation, contractual requirements and company policies.

Work Experience

8 -10 years of experience in related field Experience in manufacturing set ups is preferrable To manage and optimize transportation and logistics operations by driving freight cost efficiencies, improving service levels, strengthening transporter performance and ensuring timely, cost-effective movement of goods across the distribution network. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel proficiency and excellent presentation skills to translate logistics data into actionable business insights and management recommendations.
