Job Overview

Deputy Manager – Transport. The role supervises logistics, transport, travel and fulfillment functions, including provision of service vehicles, third‑party transport bookings, coordination with Operations for travel and hotel reservations, and asset deployment and retrievals. The individual ensures support for logistical requirements and optimal resource performance, leads continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as an effective back‑up to peers and the Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Provide logistical support for business functions, including transport vehicle provision, travel and hotel bookings for clients, business partners and leadership.
  • Manage service vehicles for operational requirements and fulfillment, covering inter‑facility transfers, official business travel, business continuity and work‑from‑home asset deployments.
  • Respond to complaints and concerns regarding fleet and logistics services.
  • Supervise daily operations of fleet service vehicles, drivers and third‑party logistics partners.
  • Oversee scheduled repair and maintenance of company‑owned vehicles.
  • Prepare and review reports on vehicle utilization, maintenance, operational costs and consumption.
  • Analyse utilization and cost of third‑party logistics partners.
  • Participate in Business Continuity Plan drills and tabletop exercises.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third‑party vendors.
  • Evaluate team performance and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Disseminate memoranda and information campaigns related to logistics, travel and transport.
Qualifications

Education: College graduate.

Experience: 7 to 10 years in logistics, transport, or related field.

Mandatory Skills
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, planning, scheduling and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SAP, ARIBA, Workday, QISMS, CAPA
  • Strong customer service, communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of cost‑comparative analysis
  • People‑management and interdepartmental coordination skills
  • Ability to formulate and implement policies and procedures
