Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited in Mumbai is seeking a Deputy Manager-Supply Chain to lead category management and raw material procurement (API, vitamins, excipients) with end-to-end procure-to-pay execution.

You will own supplier relationships, drive sourcing strategies, manage RFI/RFPs, SOWs, SLAs, and contract lifecycles; coordinate with Shared Services for vendor setup, PO issuance, PO/GR/advance closures, and ensure timely procurement and supply continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement of APIs, vitamins and excipients.
• Hands-on with SAP for PO creation, approvals and PO/GR processes.
• Experience drafting RFI/RFP, SOW, SLA and contract life cycle.
• Ability to generate MIS reports and supplier performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Handle API, Vitamins & raw material procurement.
• Own all operational duty related to assigned category; coordinate vendor creation, PO preparation, close Open PO/GR/Advance, and approve Purchase Orders in SAP, compliance and reporting.
• Evolve sourcing and procurement processes based on business needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Manage bid proposals (RFI/RFP), requirements documentation (SOW), SLAs, service agreements and related documents.
• Contract lifecycle management; engage with stakeholders to identify best supply solutions and ensure on-time procurement and supply continuity.
• Negotiate pricing and terms of contracts and manage lifecycle; track and renew with suppliers.
• Monthly MIS reporting and maintain supplier relationships across sites.

The individual will be responsible for the development of category management strategies and procurement of raw materials – API, vitamins and excipients. End to end management of procurement related operations- procure to pay.

• Handling API, Vitamins & raw material procurement.

• Negotiate pricing, terms & commercial conditions of contracts and manage through the contract lifecycle.
